It was the worst experience. I boarded in Chennai at 9:55 PM. The bus met with an accident and was 2 hours delayed. The next day morning at 7:00 AM, the AC was not working and we were travelling without AC for 4 hours in that very hot temperature inside the bus, causing difficulty in breathing. This was my first time and I had a very worst and terrifying experience, so I am never going to book a ticket in this bus again.

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint and demand a full ticket fare refund for my journey last night on Bus No. xxxxx from Tambaram to Pollachi (Scheduled for 9:30 PM, boarded at 11:00 PM). The driver operated the vehicle negligently slowly under the false pretext of heavy rain, even though the weather cleared up completely and traffic was light after Kilambakkam. To put this delay into perspective, a friend on a different bus crossed Melmaruvathur by 12:30 AM, whereas our bus had not even crossed the Paranur toll gate, instead, within just 15 km, the driver stopped for the first of four unnecessary tea breaks. Due to this deliberately sluggish pace, every other bus easily overtook us on the highway, and we ultimately crawled into Pollachi at 12:00 PM today. Because of this massive delay, I missed my connecting 9:00 AM Akkamalai bus to Valparai, which has completely derailed my travel plans and caused immense mental agony. Compounding this terrible delay, the bus infrastructure was severely damaged, causing rainwater to leak heavily through a malfunctioning window that soaked my assigned Seat xx. When I brought this wet condition to the crew's attention, they noted that there were five vacant lower berth seats but refused to let me move unless I paid an additional ₹xxx in cash. When I offered to pay via G Pay, the driver flatly refused, explicitly stating that “if we do G Pay, the money will go directly to the SBLT Account. This was a clear, undeniable case of your crew extorting passengers to pocket illegal cash bribes while exploiting defective bus facilities. I strictly require a full refund of my bus fare for this horrific service and request that the management take immediate, strict disciplinary action against this corrupt driver.
