I had booked my bus ticket through MakeMyTrip and was allotted seat number SL2. However, upon boarding the bus, I found another passenger occupying the same seat. When I checked with her, she showed me a manually issued ticket bearing the same seat number, SL2. I immediately brought the matter to the attention of the bus staff and showed them my valid online ticket. I asked how a manual ticket with the same seat number could have been issued. Instead of resolving the issue appropriately, the staff asked me to move to another seat. Since I had a valid confirmed booking for SL2, I refused to change my seat. Only after I expressed my dissatisfaction did the staff arrange an alternative seat for the other passenger and allow me to occupy the seat that had been allotted to me. This incident reflects poor seat management and unprofessional behaviour by the bus staff. Passengers holding valid confirmed tickets should not be asked to change their allotted seats due to errors made by the operator. Such situations cause unnecessary inconvenience and discomfort. I request you to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that duplicate seat allocations do not occur in the future and that staff are properly trained to handle such situations professionally.
