I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding the highly negligent and irresponsible behaviour of the bus driver and conductor. My elderly parents were travelling on the bus and had informed the conductor that they needed to use the washroom. They specifically requested him to wait for them and ensure that they could return to their seats before the bus departed. Despite being clearly informed of their situation, the conductor failed to take the necessary care and departed from the stop, leaving my elderly parents behind. Their mobile phones and wallets had been left inside the bus, which meant that they were unable to contact the driver, conductor, or any other person on the bus. Meanwhile, the bus continued its journey and travelled approximately 15 kilometres from the stop, leaving my parents stranded and without any means of communication or access to their belongings. This incident reflects a serious lapse in responsibility, passenger safety, and basic duty of care, particularly towards elderly passengers. Such conduct is completely unacceptable and could have resulted in serious consequences. I request the concerned authorities to investigate this incident thoroughly, identify the driver and conductor responsible, and take appropriate action for their negligence. I also request that the matter be reviewed so that such incidents do not happen to other passengers in the future. I expect a prompt response and appropriate corrective action regarding this complaint.
